Real-time Ultrasound Computer-Aided Diagnostic System

Far Eastern Memorial Hospital (FEMH), Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery has developed a real-time ultrasound computer-aided diagnostic (CAD) system.

Since 2007, our Head and Neck Ultrasound service has been actively integrated into clinical care, research, and education. Over the past decade, our team has performed approximately 2,000 ultrasound examinations per year. Based on this extensive clinical experience, we have developed multiple research projects in head and neck ultrasound, with results published in international and domestic journals and presented at academic conferences. We aim to establish ourselves as a leading center in Taiwan for head and neck ultrasound diagnostics, education, and research, and to continue contributing to international academic development.
