Endoscopic Sinus Surgery

The sinuses are four paired air-filled cavities located around the nasal passages and within the facial and skull bones. Inflammation may cause yellow nasal discharge, foul odor, and headaches. Chronic sinusitis is defined as symptoms lasting more than three months, which may require endoscopic sinus surgery. If medication does not provide significant improvement, septoplasty or other nasal passage corrective surgery may be performed.
