The ENT Department of Far Eastern Memorial Hospital was established in 1981 by Dr. Po-Jung Huang as the first director. Dr. Hsuan-Yen Hung served as the second director starting in 1983, continuing the development of the department. In July 2001, Dr. Bo-Wen Cheng became director. On September 1, 2023, the ENT Department was restructured into the ENT Division, with Dr. Liren Liao as the first division director. Under his leadership, the division has developed specialized areas including Otology, Rhinology & Sleep Medicine, Laryngology, Head & Neck Oncology, and General & Pediatric ENT, covering comprehensive ENT diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Bo-Wen Cheng currently serves as Director of the Hospital Teaching Division.

Currently, the ENT Division is organized into five specialized units:
