Far Eastern Memorial Hospital Head and Neck Cancer Care Team Photo
In order to improve the quality of head and neck cancer treatment at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, a multidisciplinary care team was established to continuously enhance patient survival and quality of life under team-based care.
To ensure that clinical care teams can focus on patient care, the hospital established the “Head and Neck Cancer Surveillance & Research Group” under the Multidisciplinary Head and Neck Cancer Treatment Team of the Cancer Treatment Center to monitor the implementation of disease care programs.
Head and Neck Cancer Surveillance & Research Group Responsibilities:
• (1) Annual Head and Neck Cancer Report planning
• (2) Monitoring treatment outcomes and 15 key indicators; disease care program evaluation
• (3) Initiating research projects and publishing scientific papers
